I feel very productive today: managed to hand in the tutkijalinja application on time. Yay!

We had our first class of laboratory safety today. The teacher wore a black lab coat and used a whip as a pointer.

Yesterday we had to present solutions to some beforehand given neurological problems in pairs to our harkkatyö group. There's a boy in our year who looks just like Elijah Wood. I had some difficulties in controlling myself as Frodo Baggins suddenly started talking in medical terms with a thick Häme accent.

We had foetus sitz yesterday. I was quite excited to go, since I have such good experiences of those events. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

In stead of reading anatomy, I ended up browsing random people's livejournal entries. I'm not going to pass tomorrow’s exam and I accept it, but the fact that I have to wake up in the morning at an inhumane hour just to stare blankly at the test paper in front of me irritates me. *insert half hearted self loathing for not having read enough ( Read more... )
