Some of this stuff crosses over, though.

Side ponytails were definitely late 80's. Jelly sandles were early 80's (I think I was 4 or 5 and owned a pair). Goonies was 80's and I'm pretty sure Karate Kid was 80's as well.

Though I suppose a child of the 80's like me was still a kid for part of the 90's. 'Cause I would have to say that a lot of these would apply to me, too.
