Hey art boys.. it's Sof's birthday on Saturday, and she's a bit of an artist, so I want to get her something cool. What's something slightly off the wall but really good quality? I was thinking like pastels or watercolours but unusual?

Get her Pantones, they're what I use for all my graf stuff.
They're mad, but a little pricey.

Or you could go for 'Carrandache' aquarelles, which are water soluble crayons. They're fucking cool - easy like water colour pencils but you can get really solid, vivid colour out of them. Either that or the Pantones Benj suggested. Aquarelles are a bit more arty, Pantones are a bit more designey. In either case - I get a %10 discount at Oxford Art Supplies in Paddington. I'll be at COFA all night if you want to pick me up and go down there. They're open late.

That's kinda what I was thinking actually, they're more her style than the Pantones, cool as they are.
You at COFA just muckin around? I could swing by and you could come shopping with me?

Yep, I'm in the labs modelling a talking razor blade. He's going to help children learn that it's not across the street - it's down it.

Just come to COFA and park somewhere (try the back streets off Greens road for an easy park) gimme a buzz and I'll come meet you and we can walk down. That's if you drive. If not catch a 378 from Central or a 380 from Elizabeth street and get off just after Taylor Square and buzz me. Whatever you like, jst gimme some notice to pack up my gear.

You leg-end. I'll drive. Then maybe we can do Townie with Benj for beer/food? What time would you like me to come?
