Greetings! Happy Halloween! May the spirits of your ancestors that visit tonight be plesant and none too spooky. I plan on leaving out a bowl of sweets to please what ever ghost visits tonight: since no trick or treaters walk these streets. I hate Shane for doing that! He was one of my fav characters but now I can't stand the guy. :P Great series though!

I agree, that is one of the things I like about that show. The characters are believable as real people with real issues.

I wonder how that will effect Shane's character. I always knew he was an SOB but now he's a dangerous and mean SOB. Do you think they will find the girl alive and healthy? You know... un-zombified?

I hope they do. Though that gal probably is dead by now. Too many walkers wandering around in the woods. Even with out zombies, it's easy to die in the woods if you don't know how to survive. I can see Shane making a play foir what he wants, by trying to kill Rick: via feeding him to the Zombies.

You know... something has been bugging me lately about that show. If there are so many zombies running around in the woods and if the people at the farmhouse are so aware of the zombies and how dangerous they are, shouldn't the house be a little more fortified? Like windows boarded up or something? In the evening, when the walkers are at their worst, they are in that house that's in the middle of nowhere with every light in the house on and the doors wide open. I dunno... but I'd be hiding trying to keep a low profile. Pretty inconsistent with the story if you ask me. There were a ton of walkers just a mile away at the school.

I know, I would build a wooden stockade near a creek or a well and farm the land around it. That or get to a gun shop in a small town. There should be more than enough ammo and guns to sweep the area clean of walkers. Gun shops already are little forts that walkers wouldn't be able to get into: most of them any way. Burn the dead and start rebuilding civilization.
