I'm not sure if it's really helpful, but YamaPi has starred in a drama in which he had heart problems, back in 2001 'Shounen wa Tori ni Natta', and he had breathing difficulties in all of it. There's also the similar drama Kamenashi Kazuya was in, 'Yuuki', although in there it was a disease in which his skull bones were dissolving.

Hi, I found your journal via an Arashi community (can't remember which one, sorry).

Probably you've already finished your research but just in case, I just wanted to say that there are more Johnnys who had starred in SP dramas about chronic or serious illnesses. If you look for them, Nino and Matsumoto Jun from Arashi also starred in one (Nino I think starred in two. Can't remember the titles, sorry). The one with Matsujun is titled: Myu no Anyo Papa ni Ageru, and I really liked it! (it's not about breathing problems though. I've seen somebody else recommend you Yamapi's, that one I also liked it a lot).

In Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, Kame's brother has asthma. Hope it helps ;)

thanks for your comment. I watched all what you recommend as well as what others did.I chose yamapi's shounen wa tori ne natte and Ryo's Nini.
