It makes no sense that my mother has cancer. She is so healthy, active and has no pain. But she does and we are all trying to be optimistic but inside I'm scared and sad. I'm also exhausted.

Oh no - I am so sorry. Perhaps her good health otherwise means she's better set to handle treatment and recover.

So difficult to go through this when you are already in one of the hardest parts of grownup life, being a working mom with an infant-stage child.
