Not to mention the KJV got things wrong- words mistranslated, Shakespere played with some of the psalms, etc http://www.biblestudy.org/basicart/kjverror.html

Tons of things wrong. KJV has to be read (as most of them do, honestly) with a jaundiced eye towards "using religion for man's gain".

parables work. They make as much sense now as they did then. The problem most people have is worrying about what kind of fruit it is, rather than the fruit/tree parable. Once you take what kind of fruit it is out of the equation, the ability to use "the bible" as a hammer to force people into supporting a church of Man goes away.

Not that I'm an expert or anything on such matters but....wow. That's a bit far-out! :(

That shows what the silly pastor of that awful church knows. The NIV bible has been proven to be the most accurate translation of all the english bibles and yet he burns it because he prefers the King James version, which is a translation of a translation of a translation.

I wouldn't join this church either.

What morons. Unless they're reading the original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, they need to shut up. And people very much need to NOT give them publicity.
