Thoughts on Rowling and Dumbledore Being Gay

So, I'm pretty sure everyone has heard now that Rowling stated that Dumbledore was gay. If not:

I don't care why she did it, but I am just really happy she did it at all, even if it was after

I liked this part:

Snape and Dumbledore slash. Slash? Is that the term? I am fan fiction illiterate.

I like imagining that Snape and Dumbledore had some sort of predilection for each other. Although Snape loved Lily, so I guess for that to work out he would have to be bi. Wow. My imagination is pairing characters up with Dumbledore like whoa.
