Okay, college is hard and full of work. But sometimes that work is reading. Nita really can't complain about having to sit in Milliways with a mug of tea and a copy of Heart of Darkness. Nita's Fridays, as it happens, bear a startling resemblance to a few of Matt's own-- and more so lately, as he's hung out around the bar hoping to catch her.

Looks like this is his lucky night.

Ulp.

Matt runs a hand through his hair and ducks into the men's bathroom to check himself in the mirror. Not bad, not bad ... even if his mussing has only made his hair, as usual, the unflattering sort of messy. He does his best to fix it before reemerging.

Nita . . . is still absorbed in her reading, smiling occasionally at a turn of phrase.
