I, too, am growing very tired of this violent world. I just keep thinking about what kind of world we're leaving behind for generations to follow. Here you are, an expectant mother, bringing a new life into this world (also a cliche, but we use them over and over again because they're true) and it's a very anxious world to be entering into.

On a happier note, have you registered yet at Target? I was wandering around last Wednesday, thinking about the last baby shower items I had purchased, and I was happy, thinking about you and your girl. I want to be able to send you something, even if it is a pack of white cotton onesies (which seems to be my shower gift of choice, as they are terribly practical). You'll have to let me know.
