[Video footage begins with a rich-looking woman, wearing an expensive designer jacket, gold earrings, silk stockings, and fancy heels. Her hair is tied back in a professional updo, and her cashmere coat is lined with real animal fur

[So she is in a city? This isn't some ruin? Fuck... none of this makes sense.
But she'll avoid thinking about it at all for fear she'll lose her mind. She just nods and begins looking around.]
...Yes. [She clears her throat, her voice gaining confidence.] Yes, I see it.
[She trudges off very, very slowly towards it, dragging her silver axe behind her. With how much it is slowing her down, you'd think she'd drop it, but she has no desire to do so.]
[Shhhhhhhhhhhk.... Shhhhhhhhhhk... the metallic dragging noise gets closer, and Mayuzumi hobbles over to the apartments. When she sees Rebecca holding the cup of water, her eyes shine like a hawk spotting a carcass. She might have licked her lips in anticipation if her tongue weren't completely dry.]
....Give that to me. Give it to me.
[She holds out the hand not holding the axe pleadingly, bloody and frostbitten.]
She takes the cup so quickly it almost spills, dropping her axe long enough to bring the mug shakingly to her mouth. She drinks it so quickly, it doesn't have enough time to even moisten her lips.]
...
[She stares at Rebecca as she slowly bends back down to pick up her axe, her legs trembling in her high heels.]
...
[And suddenly her whole body starts quivering, mostly from exhaustion, but partly from relief.]
[Lin shakes her head, stubbornly lowering herself to the cold ground and taking a seat. She really, really can't (or just doesn't want to) walk up stairs right now.]
....
[She doesn't even make a movement to go inside the apartment lobby, as if Rebecca will physically force her to climb stairs if she does.]
[Without a word, Lin slowly complies, dragging herself through the doors and into the apartment. She feels warmer immediately.
Once inside, she finds a corner and shrugs off her thick jacket, which is slick with ice. She kicks off her high-heeled shoes across the floor and begins rubbing her ankles. Without her jacket, she looks like hell - the blood stains on her purple business jacket are more obvious than on her red winter coat - but feels much more comfortable.]
....
[Feeling her energy returning and her panic abating, Mayuzumi straightens up, sighing.]
[Noticing the girl doesn't care much about the blood across her body, blood that clearly isn't hers, Lin smooths out the wrinkles on her skirt with no effort to hide her bloody hands.]
Have you been living here this whole time? Did you all watch the crash and just sit around on your asses?!
Oh. I guess I should explain. You aren't where you came from. I dunno what you're talking about, but Libitina brought you to town. You were in a crash? Yeah we couldn't see it from here.

[Nonetheless, she hands it over.]

[She's desensitised to violence and blood. She'll help, since she likes to think of herself as a good person, but she's not shocked.]

[...Not that she could see the mountain when she turned around...
Her face warps with rage, and she grits her teeth.]
No?! A jetliner crashing and exploding into the snow a little too subtle for you to notice?!
