[Alma's standing outside the apartment building, eyes focused on the sky above him. A fine layer of white has settled into his dark hair and, after a moment of confused blinking, he lifts a hand to catch some of the strange flakes falling from the sky, eyebrows furrowing when they smear in his grip rather than melting.]

Try not to breathe it in too much, Alma. I have a bit of my scarf you can wrap around your nose and mouth if you have to go outside. Dampen it first with water and keep it damp.

[Still blinking curiously at the falling ash.]

... What is it?

It's ash like from a fire. It can hurt your lungs if you breathe it in for a while.

[He nods, but then looks troubled.]

You think there's a fire somewhere?

...Come back inside. It looks like ashy snow from here.

It probably is. It's not healthy to breath in.

I guess not... [Not that Alma thinks it will matter for them. He and Yu are always okay.

He's quiet for a moment, the feed cutting for a few seconds as he talks with someone else, but when he comes back he's looking waaaaaay more excited than he was before.]

Is it okay if I ride Lavi's hammer?!

[... That sounds awful.]

It's ash, Alma...try to wrap something around your nose/mouth--you shouldn't breathe too much of it in. Doesn't seem like there's a fire though, so it's probably Her doing.

[Alma doesn't seem to be paying the much mind to the possible ill effects of the ash. He's a rather hardy little boy, after all. He can take it.]

Yeah. I haven't been going outside much. [Certainly not happy about that.]
