eh.. it's incomplete...

still have:
In the end, the new teacher did not resign. However, a year later, he was transferred to an "elite" school to teach a "gifted" class; perhaps "elites" are more compatible with "gifted" people. Yet, if every teacher was like him, who will educate the students in neighbourhood schools?

sigh. I got rejected by MOE 3 times. It is very demoralising. And yet, this fresh teacher refuses to teach in a neighbourhood school cause he is just an elite? What was he thinking when he signed the contract with MOE. Zzz

i guess perhaps in current context,
its always just bout themselves le.

poeple would think ahead:
im a fresh grad,i study at somewhere elite,
so if i teach,
i shld be drawin at least how much salary,
and teachin at somewhere elite too.

people no longer teach for passion like then already.
kinda sad.

hahaha ... oh what to expect of a society which praises to high heaven the elites and tries to ship off the non performers and the old off the island?

no point being sad or angry about the new teacher - we all share equal blame in raising and praising and encouraging these elites - he is just the natural product of the social conditioning we all approve and contribute to - whether actively or tacitly.
