I think I just realized why I have been disliking the summer and why I wish I was back at Ball State again

I feel like that a lot, actually, like I'm waiting for parts of my life to end/begin.

I think all you can really do is try to find the awesome moments that come in between the things you're waiting for. And maybe just kick back and enjoy it.

Also...all's fair in love and war, and you shouldn't feel bad about being happy :)
