Since it's been two years since Rockwood PD pulled me over for "speeding" at 12:30pm after the Buggstompers Open House, my self-imposed moratorium on Downriver is officially lifted. How shall I celebrate this event? Let me know ( Read more... )

Though, now there's the small matter of I-75 being closed at 9 Mile for the forseeable future. We can't win for losing in this state. This isn't the first time accidents like that have happened. MDOT spent years rebuilding an interchange on I-75 through Detroit (I forget if it was I-75/I-94, or if it was at I-75 and Gratiot) 6 months after it was complete, the same thing happened. There was also an overpass on I-75 in Downriver that was destroyed by a truck fire underneath it, soon after a major renovation.

You'll be happy to know that I zoomed through Rockwood, MI at a high rate of speed on I-75.

I think I'll pass. I pretty much have no reason to drive through that one horse, cop-infested pimple of a town ever again.
