[Gojyo is hiding behind some bushes, watching the grill. He's typically not invited to these things, but if he's fast, he should be able to steal a few hot dogs. And he's always been pretty fast.

He waits until the other kid has his back turned (wait, why's there another kid with red hair?), and then he darts forward, snatching food from the grill with his bare hands, and then turning to run away again just as quickly.]

[ Hot dogs are hard to cook. They look like they're done when they start bubbling from the slashes, but you have to let them stay on the fire until they're just not quite burning. Otherwise they don't get done inside, and when there's plenty of food, it's a waste to not cook them all the way inside.

Which is why he's doubly pissed when some kid runs up, grabs some NOT DONE YET THANK YOU dogs, and runs off. ]

[ Gonou has his arms loaded up with about half a dozen dog-eared paperbacks. He found the library. It's just... sort of an interesting library. He gently sets them aside in a pile when Gojyo calls, composed though his stomach growls in approval. ]
