Oh God, I almost forgot that Kikla was heading off to Greece; I hope her family's alright though, too.

Yeah, Kikla should be fine, thankfully.

I'm looking at maps right now. Doesn't look like York is anywhere near where it all happened. Roughly 200 mile distance between York & London. So Kikla's family should be okay.
