I meant to make a post this morning raving about how excited I was about going to Beaglefest '06, but I woke up late and didn't have any time.

Well, Daisy and I had a blast. My mother managed to embarass me. I witnessed Maggie's mother getting her shoe peed on by some random beagle. I must have seen at least 200 beagles. I even was able to meet mettalchikk

Fabulous meeting you and your mom! Shame that all those pesky beagles were in the way of our getting to chat more! LOL

I was really embarassed by my mom going up to you. I was going to say hi on my own, I am an adult, just a shy adult. But NOO, she dragged me, no, literally dragged me over to say hi. I felt like a little kid being introduced, and made me more embarassed b/c I was pretty sure you didn't know my real name. *sigh* mothers.
She wasn't even going to go until I told her about it.

Aside from that, you mentioned something about a radio show. Is it a talk radio show? and if so, what station and time?

Anyways..

I seriously wan't put off of meeting you because of age. If you had been a big built guy, I would have been a little more reserved. My mom just did that b/c she knew it would embarass me. Plus she doesn't really understand how I work. I needed to feel out the scene (and you) before saying anything.

And anyone that thinks someone else is a freak for having an "unnatural" color of hair is just a moron.

omg! i love beagles! i just love dogs, in general.. are some of those mixed beagles? great pics!!

Yes, some are beagle mixes, and some weren't even beagles at all (there's a collie in the 8th pic from the top). It was really great to be around all these dogs. Beagles are extremely funny and sociable.

It was so fun to be with so many beagles and their owners.. especially since some of my family and friends don't like to talk about beagles as much as I do.
