Oww, I feel sorry for you. In some ways, your situation really is worse than mine if I'm back in Malaysia. I mean, being of the Chinese race in Malaysia just automatically lumps us in the 2nd-class citizens category, but at least we are not made to observe the same religious rules as Malays in Malaysia. I can only imagine how conflicted your situation must be. Ethnically Malay, but Western-educated ( ... )

I'm just curious about your situation though. Are you bound to the Muslim laws in Malaysia? I mean, with regards to for example, prayers, dressing, behaviour?
