The Fly

While I realize that that's a title for a really corny horror movie, this actually has to do with another famous fly who acts in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. At least, I think he should be famous for the sole reason that it doesn't make sense for him to be in it ( Read more... )

in the book it mentions a blue bottle fly as being the only thing in the room other than the wardrobe. I sort of liked that they kept that detail.

After you mentioned that I went and reread that part of the book. C.S. Lewis originally had written it as being dead, but I suppose a dead fly isn't exciting enough for a movie.

I jumped for joy (not necesasrily figuratively) when I first saw it in the theater. I had forgotten about it until then, but I was really glad when I saw it. I think that it brought back some of the old Chronicles feeling I used to have...
