and the search goes on...

So yesterday I went out to Valley Village and took a look at a beautiful little 1 bedroom place that would cost me about $225/month less than my current place. I really liked it. that first apartment sounds like a "bait and switch". He really wants to rent the lesser apartment, but he shows the better apartment which really isn't available so that you will take the second choice. Don't settle for something that is just "ok" - that isn't good enough for someone as special as you.

wow... my L-desk won't fit. I mean, if I put it in the "bedroom" it'd block the bathroom door. If I put it in the living room, it'd either look like a reception desk directly inside the front door or would be up against the front window... which I guess I could do... but then what do I do with my other desk? And what about a couch? or something to put my TV on? and all my bookshelves?

I'll give them a call in the morning and let them know that my furniture won't fit, so if it's not too late I'd like to withdraw my application. I'd call now, but it's 9:30pm on a Sunday night, and you never know how early people go to sleep... heh.

And tomorrow afternoon I'll start bugging the manager about that first apartment. I'm also scheduled to see something in Silverlake after work tomorrow... so I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
