Ok, so I saw a little tiny place in Long Beach last night. It was cute. It was DEFINITELY affordable (about $380 cheaper than my current place). I put in an application. Then I got home and graphed the dimensions and started trying to arrange my furniture. No space for my desk, let alone a couch, TV, bed, 3 bookshelves, another desk, etc ( Read more... )

I'm getting the feeling that there are multiple "perfect" places for me... which is good cuz it means I've got options. ;)

The one bedrooms have dishwashers but the 2 bedrooms don't? That's strange. But good for you since you're looking for a one bedroom!

yeah, I discussed that in the original post about that complex. When they remodeled the apartments (which they're doing each time one comes open right now), they measured the kitchens in the 2-bedroom places wrong, and ended up without a place for the dishwasher. They measured right in the 1-bedroom units. ;)
