lousy verizon DSL customer service

So I called the main 800 number for verizon service, swam through the prompts until I got to the one regarding DSL (which forwarded me to another 800 number), then waded through the prompts to "sales", at which point I had to confirm again the number I was calling from as being the number where I wanted service, and blah blah blah... then got a ( Read more... )

Verizon DSL is supposed to have 24/7 support, except for the billing office. I had that number memorized (plus all the other numbers to get through the IVR system) because I was calling them 3-5 times a day when I was experiencing connection issues.

You may be able to find out this info on the verizon website, BTW.
