So I suppose i should update been a while since i have posted anything besides "meme's" .. Hubby and I went to see my parents this year in Oregon. It was a good visit, it's been 4 years now, so it was time. Dad had a stroke about 2 years ago and i was unable to go home, so it was REALLY good to see my dad, although it was quite shocking to see him

Ow, unemployment. D: That's awful. I'm so sorry, hon. I'm really sorry about his dad, too. Hope he at least can find some other job soon. And that everything gets better for you both! *HUGS*

thanks hun .. i am sure he will find something, it just came out of nowhere .. his dad is doing okay for the time being, and treatment seems to be going okay. I just hope it continues to do so. (((Hugs)))

Much sympathy on the hubby's lay-off. That always sucks, but the IT field is a very fluid sort of job market from what I've seen. I'm sure something new will crop up soon, as tedious as job-hunting is.

LOL .. no "Topher" is what i call him, his name is Christopher, he goes by Chris, but he will ALWAYS be "Topher" to me. *giggle*

Off to unemployment tomarrow, as well as starting the job hunt. He is good at what he does, I am sure he will find something, i just hope its sooner rather then later, when he got laid off of Compaq he was without a job for a year.
