Day 1: Okay. Hot water heater is busted. Landlord is loathe to do anything, takes two hours to GET someone over here and ignores my third phone call flat out because he's a jerk. Room's soaked, couches are more uncomfortable than the couches... Guess it's the floor for sleeping

That said... your bathroom situation sucks. But really, cold showers aren't that bad, and trust me, long hair can do a lot worse. Neglecting upkeep for a week or so isn't nice, but ze hair will deal with it. Or you'll make it eat pie. XD
