I had collected about 3 cases of beautiful rosé wines over the last 5-6 years. They have lived in a couple of different places in that time and come through quite well. Alas, the townhouse we are currently renting has zero insulation in the basement and the heat from the summer has caused some of the wine to spoil. I don't know yet how many bottles

Oh, no! I'm sorry about your rosé wines! That absolutely sucks! :-( I hope that at least some of the bottles haven't been spoiled. Even if one could be saved, it would be something.

Thank you. Any time wine goes to waste is a terrible loss. Oh well, it just means I have to open each and every one of them to taste them. Who knows, maybe there will still be a good one or two.

It is truly sad, but there may be one or two that have survived. On the upside, it means I can buy more. I think I will stick to buying what I plan to drink fairly quickly rather than keeping a collection...certainly only what I can store in my fridge (not reds), no more cases.
