I'm so sorry for your loss. From what little I've seen, Bill seems like he was a really good man. I'm glad he was able to follow his passion and be so involved in the craft of sword handling/swordsmanship. I'm sure he made a difference in a number of lives and formed many strong friendships. You were lucky to have known him.
Thank you. He touched a lot of lives and his loss is felt by many. He specifically asked us to help his wife over the next while by inviting her to dinner, etc. We will definitely honour his wishes once the flurry of activity settles down, not just because they are his wishes but because we love her too.
Before I knew him, I saw him at Polaris where he had a booth. I was intimidated by his look so did not go in the booth. When I finally met him I realized he was a teddy bear, potentially dangerous with a sword, but still a very loving teddy bear.
