It's kind of weird thinking about Turkey Scrabble as a breakout tournament because I didn't play much better if at all than I did in Vegas; I just had a set of opponents that was more favorable to my rating going up, and the right situational luck. Thanks regardless -- as I've said, it was really fun, and I hope I'll be in Charlotte to try to deprive you of your crown again. :) -Quinn

I enjoyed reading your recap. You had a darn good year. I am most impressed about how you run the 8's on Aerolith day after day.

Thanks! I have been through quite a swath of 8's either in Zyzzyva or Aerolith, and of course finding a word when you're told there's one is easier than finding something over the board. Also there are certainly words that I guess incorrectly and then remember the correct spelling (CAMBRIC/S has been coming up a few times recently and I keep guessing CRAMBIC* first).
