I just wanted to make a point out of this. Recently Lee and I went to the pool hall in Neptune. I don't know how everything stayed contained and death didn't break out. It turned out to be the most diverse and unlikely crowd to ever be in the same spot at the same time ( Read more... )

reminds me of back in the day when my delinquent friends and i used to sneak out at all hours of the night and drive down to brick to play pool at sharkey's. i don't even think that place is open anymore. me, mike, brian, and stacey -- we used to call ourselves "The PAC". it stood for something, but i can't remember what. our mascot was this orange and white stuffed clownfish we won at great adventure one night. after that -- we all had to win some clownfish and we drove around with them fading in the rear windows of our cars. those were the days man -- sneakin' out the window, pushin' the good old volvo down the street and starting it on bayshore court, picking up the boyfriend at the mobile station on belmar blvd.... all to go play pool @ sharkey's, hang out @ walmart, and plan our upcoming trip to Woodstock '99. we were such a bunch of nerds. =)

Well, it's good to know that you finally gave in and joined the winning team. It's gonna be hard disposing your obsolete ps2 though. I mean, if you're lucky, you can probably permanently open up the disc tray and use it as a cupholder in your truck.

Haha, to bad PS2 is gonna be installed with TVs. Gamecube = Sega Saturn.

i wish i was at the pool hall to see all of that randomly amazing diversity. mostly the jewish guys drinking with yamaca's or whatever they are on.

The Neptune pool hall is just absolutely nothing to fuck with. Koons, Jew-bags, Tony Hawk Pro-Skater players, you just get the dime-a-dozen there. Yes, we're having a FvJ party at my house, and I don't care when it is. I have the house to myself for another month, and I'm pretty bored. So, let me know when everyone is free. Let the mayhem begin.
