So, got into another school... University of Sheffield. Which is all very exciting, but I'm beginning to wonder why they all want me. I mean, I think I'm a good writer, but hardly the best I know, and my grades were not exactly great. I have some experience, but not what I'd call "extensive" (though I have on job applications...).

I'll say two things. First, they want you because their standards are low. That's right, you're the best of the worst, and that is saying quite a lot about the worst. I was as shocked as you were that you were accepted to any school at all, let alone as many as you have been. Perhaps you're dad called them and paid them off before hand, a la Stealing Harvard, that awful and horrible movie with Tom Green and Brodie from Mallrats. Or perhaps it's all in your head, and you're just fishing for complements (good job, by the way). Either way, let's just hope this bubble doesn't pop, because regardless of why you got it, you got in. Right? Right
