Things You Always Wanted To Know About Italians, But Never Wanted To Ask
Issue 1.1
Italians really do use the Barilla pasta brand. However, Italy does not stock the whole wheat variety. And what is labeled 'Rotini' in the U.S. goes by a different name, 'Fusili,' in Italy; 'Rotini' doesn't actually mean anything.
Veronica flew in to Nashville on Saturday. I picked her up and was pleasantly surprised that she'd brought not one, not two, but three kinds of cheeses from Italy! Mmm.
I've helped her get settled and things, and so far things are going swimmingly. She'll be in Nashville for her final year of her PhD program in proteomics (the study of proteins).
Should be a fun year!
