Euro Prices!...

During my trip to Bologna, Italy, I went to visit the Bruno Magli Shoes Factory. Their claim that all is done Handcrafted, well, I saw many sawing machines around.
What was most impressed is how the "Old man" still goes around checking for good quality of products coming out.
So, I paid for a nice pair of Brown shoes, at 290.00 Euros.
Today, I went to Macy's Store and as I stopped at the shoe counters, There it was!!!!, Exactly the same Bruno Magli at a price of $250.00 US Dollars.
How could it be?, At calculating US vs. Euros at 1.60 The price was actually of about 140.00 Euros!!!.
This means I can purchase here in good old USA, Italian Shoes much cheaper than direct from the Italian Manufacturer!.
I learned my lesson, I am buying "virtually" nothing out of Europe again.
