CD burning

I know some of you pro's out there have been burning CD's for a long time.
I am seeking info on how to take wave files from my existing music CD's and burn compilation CD's for the car. Any advice on the best progs out there that can read my CD's, and copy wav files onto hard disk, etc, and where I can get them?

My CD burner came with a proggie that works well - Easy CD Creator - I think is the name of it. yf, Tom

I just realized I have a manual for burning. Looks like I have the requisite software as well! You reminded me of that. D'oh.

Lucky no-one else did. I have been successful to date about concealing my stupidity. Don't want knowledge of this to be more widespread than is necessary.
