Your comparison to Clinton REALLY slams home how damn hot it is.
Good luck with the sleeping ... I would say "it'll get better" but it sounds like you've already been pretty freakin' lucky, how much better could it get?!
It's hot here too. :( My office is on the third floor, western exposure, and I work evenings -- so it's usually 10-15 degrees hotter up here than it is at ground level. I finally caved and got a portable air conditioner on Wednesday morning. It wasn't cheap but man alive is it worth it, IMO. I always fuss about air conditioning because we don't need it often here, but in the summer my office is routinely uncomfortable. So I'm justifying it as a work expense.
Poor Elizabeth, though. :( Nothing like being all hot and sticky and not being able to do anything about it. My mom used to put a sheet in the freezer and put us to bed with that when we were little - it'd keep us cool long enough for us to go to sleep for a bit anyway.
