taken to wearing shorts at every conceivable opportunity, even though the Great British Summer does not really justify it. At all. Does that make me strange? i should point out that these are sensible long shorts, not hot pants. Nobody needs to see that much of my legs.

Hotpants and tights remind me a bit too much of 1992, which I think is when I last wore them (white hotpants, opaque black tights, what a look!). And my legs are definitely not quite as skinny as they were aged 11. Or I'm more bothered about how they look. Either way, not gonna happen.

Hmmm... There's nothing wrong with a bit of leg. I haven't worn shorts for many many years, of course, but were I to have the confidence I should like to wear them.

Shame you had to go and spoil it at the end by admitting they weren't hotpants, though.
