Calling all Slytherins

Have you noticed that when we meet each other, we instantly know we're Slytherin? It's like gaydar. Snakedar? Slythdar? Whatever, we have it.

Around here, it's because the girls who want to be Slytherin all dress like street walkers to go to the movies. I'm always kidding about it with my son when we're standing in line

Yeah, Inga was telling me about girls dressed like that... sad.

I am not a Slytherin, but this made me giggle :)

(mostly this is an excuse to tell you that I'm writing that fic we were talking about)

I feel I am a stealth Slytherin ;) Well, except for the obvious name *cough*

You mean you're sneaky and cunning?

Well, I'm certainly ambitious, and I've got a few brain cells to rub together, so I consider myself basically clever and cunning. But more than anything I don't look the part, which throws people off, I think. If I go to the con next year, I should buy some Slytherin robes. Because nothing says practical like Slytherin robes in Florida in the middle of July . . .

Quidditch robes wouldn't be much cooler, I imagine.

So what do Slytherins look like, in your eyes?

Hmm...I may need to be a Slytherin to actually notice this- but I do say the Slyths stand out. ;-)

Of course you're talking to a confessed Weasley Gryffindor - we've been known to stand out too. ;-)
