Here it is Christmas Eve (day of) already! I remember when Christmases were about five years apart, and now they come about every six months. Where did the time fly off to?

sabre_hawke and I have a thing in common--constant problems with being at our best health-wise. The last four days I've coughed so much and so hard my ribs hurt. I'm not complaining, ( Read more... )

I'll have to go look up the Hamlet dialogue -- that particular play is her favorite and happens to be her specialty, so it's hard to beat her on a quip with that one ( ... )

Whooops! No, no I thought it was great! (I even showed it to jessofthebugs -- fellow Shakespeare afficianado. I just worked 36 hours the three days leading up to Christmas (for a total of 54 hours this week). I was just too tired to respond.

I love you, and Merry Solstice! Happy Christmahannahkwanzayule!

Hey she showed it to me, too! (Or at least, told me where to find it.) And the comment you left about her birth and how her life has affected our family. Very cool. Made me cry.

Oh, yes, I liked it very much. Hamlet is my favorite play.
I have heard quite a bit about you from your daughters. I read the post you wrote about kadollan's birth and I cried, twice. She has blessed my life certainly, as well as her three beautiful children whom I love as though they were my blood family. They would not be without you and Bacca. It is my misfortune that I did not have the chance to know her, but I would like to get to know you better.

I'm also a bit jealous of your mad iris-breeding skills. They were my mother's mother's favorite flower. Iris is the messenger of the Gods and her name means "rainbow." And as you well know, the flower can be found in more colors than I can imagine (and I'm an artist, I can imagine quite a bit). Because my Mamaw so loved them and after the Greek goddess, I named my daughter. In fact, I have half a mind to steal that stained glass iris kadollan has. If it ever goes missing, she'll know where to look ( ... )
