Is it possible to want to laugh and cry at the same time? When you know that the end is near, is it better to mourn for what could have been or relive past joys? What you are looking for is always in the last place that you look, because why would you keep looking for what has been found? I was just thinking this very same thing the other day: am I as independent as I claim to be or am I really looking for a prince to come, sweep me off my feet and slay a dragon for me? Do I really want to be saved? Or do I want to do the saving?

I don't know your whole situation, love, but I'm here if you need to talk.

To add an additional two cents, what I think it comes down to is that we crave intimacy and love. We just want someone to see us for who we are, beyond the big mouths and silly demeanors. And we refuse to just settle for anyone, so that may make the search even more frustrating. Keep your head up, hon. If anything, know that I will always love you!
