I am an English major, so therefore just by default one would assume that I write a lot of papers. Usually when I write these papers, I tend to just eke out the bare minimum in terms of length. For example--the teacher wants a 4-5 page paper, so I write one that is three full pages of text and anywhere from 1/3 to 3/4 of the fourth page. Cheating? ( Read more... )

Yes. Not only am I registering for a 9th semester (don't start, don't start), but I have to do it at 8:00 on a Saturday. For the second semester in a row.

So, I'm going to a wedding in April with Mark and his family, and I need to get a fairly nice dress to wear. Then this afternoon, I got my 400 midterm back, and that confidence was shot.

The original plan was to leave Marquette for Traverse City around 9:00 Friday Morning. Well, seeing as how a literal blizzard hit Thursday night, we wound up staying in Marquette an extra day. Part kinda nice, part not. I wound up helping Mark through his EN211 midterm, then after the stress of that I started drinking. Kinda lame, but it was fun. ( Read more... )
