Let me preface this by saying that I'm socially liberal in the sense that Giuliani is socially liberal; gay marriage and abortions should have/maintain a place in society. Now, it's time for a rant

there's this documentary that someone asked me to watch that argues that the whole terrorist network thing is something that is created by conservatives and their fear and that impetus for al qaeda type organizations was fearful conservatives. i guess that by giving them publicity or whatever, it brings them together? something about how conservatives have to create and live in fear and the most fearful are the ones who become the most powerful. i plan on watching it to see what i think. would you watch it too and tell me what you think?

I'd imagine that this would turn into the chicken or the egg debate depending upon whose side you're hearing. But what did they say?
