spotted on a 50-ish man at the co-op this morning: baggy grey/green t-shirt with faded printing, kilt (black watch plaid), black lycra (?) calf warmers* (like arm warmers, but on your legs?) with white stripe detailing, and orange Crocs

I know -- I love seeing a kilt! but the leg things were weird; tight to the calf, they kind of looked like cycling tights but ran from below the knee down to the ankle. plus Crocs. WEIRD.

or huh I wonder if he HAD been cycling, with cycling shoes in place of the Crocs before he came inside to eat. Cycling in a kilt like a true Scotsman with nothing underneath! but his calves got cold and needed to be covered!!

(sigh. I'll never know.)
