*HUG* I'm sorry that the biopsy showed abnormal results, but I'm happy that they will be removing it from your body. I hope your recovery goes very smoothly, I'll be sending you good thoughts. *nod*
While not the results you were hoping for, at least you now know and they're going to do something to fix the problem.
Dumb question, but if they're going to have you knocked out for the surgery, couldn't they biopsy the other side at the same time? Sorta 2 birds with one stone so to speak. My understanding is that the biopsy itself wouldn't take very long (under 10 minutes?) so....
It is not a dumb question. I will bring it up I have several small spots on my left side. But what I they are going to do is test my right side and if it is cancer just take the left too. The problem is that this hospital is not as big as the one I work at and they can only wait so long for results because they will close me up. So I might wake up and know they took both, or that they took the right and it was not malignant so the left is fine OR I can wake up and still be waiting for results until the next day or two
I would think there was a better procedure in place but that is how it was presented to me.
Well that kinda bites. But at least if the one side tests out positive for cancer, they'll take the other, too, as preventative. I hope it isn't the big C as that's just nasty ass shit. Please keep us updated, okay?
I will post updates probably after surgery more then anyone wants lol i will be so bored and antsy. I doubt it is the big C but have narrowed it down to a Benign growth or a Malignancy
My boss told me however that I am too fat to have cancer...so there ya go LOL one good reason to be chunky makes it easier to tell
It's going. The last district I applied to has reviewed my app so I should be hearing from them any day now as to whether or not I get an interview. Friday is also my last day at the place I am now. I just couldn't take the stress, and I felt like I was being pushed and bullied into leaving by the directors. We'll see I have plans to work on my business and get some additional schooling done which means my plans will probably get all blown to hell XD
