*lots and lots of hugs* What a hideous, horrible day. I'm so sorry to hear about Zoe. I... find myself not having any words, I know there's nothing to really say that can make it better. Just know that I'm here sending you prayers and good thoughts.

It's really scary to hear the word 'cancer' when it applies to you or someone you know. I hope the panel comes up with a good treatment plan. It might help to take a tape recorder or a good friend with you to the doctor for the next update, in case you miss something he said. It's really hard to remember everything the doctor has to tell you, especially when it's so emotionally involved. *hug*

Thanks I feel the good thoughts. She is really missed esp when I forget for a second she is gone and call her for an ice cube or a bite of bagel.

Cancer is a super scary work I know whenever I say it it upsets my family esp my mom but I can't let the word have power of me so I am using it. The hardest part is with my older niece and nephew who lost an aunt to breast cancer. It is hard to use say cancer and then try to explain that thyroid cancer is nothing like breast cancer and I am not going to die I am going to be perfectly fine

Ohhhh....
Condolences on Zoe, it's so hard to lose a family member. It won't be long I'm sure on Bo.

And for yourself, I don't know what to say. It's horrible and I'm so sorry that it's happening to you! At least your chances of recovery are better than they were even 5 years ago. Be strong! Think of the things you still MUST do and done let it sap the life out of you. And if you ever need a bad joke or horrible pun to take your mind off of crap, I'm here!

thanks. and poor Bo he is such a handsome guy and reminds me a lot of my Zoe it is so hard when pets get older. right now our 15 year old cocker is so depressed she is just slumping around the house i am worried we might loose her from grief

Thyroid cancer is the easiest cancer to get over I am going to be fine just another surgery and some radioactive iodine at the most ahead of me it is just so weird to think about it.

I'm glad to hear that! It still sucks but it'll make you strong in ways you probably can't imagine now.

The hardest part of having pets is the short life spans, I had to quit raising rats because of that, I just couln't take that much death. So far Bo is hanging in, but the heat is really getting to him. Zoe is lucky to have had you for a friend.
