the catholic church sucks. beyond that, while christmas as celebrated does line up with the roman pagan holiday, it is actually in direct response to some of the oldest established religious traditions from zoroastrianism, which was still thriving in that region. determination of time of year was based on zoroastrianism, specific date was roman paganism...either way, december 25th certainly is not the actual birthdate of jesus of nazareth.

and why are you driving towards mt. horeb? i grew up in mt. horrible. :)
