=======================================================
It had started with Groove noticing that the cubes of energon had a slight tilt to the liquid held inside of them, but then he figured it was probably a small defect in the table causing one side to sit higher then the other to give that angle. Blades had gotten an idea of it when he somehow miscalculated a landing on the top of the Ark, which had amused Slingshot to no end even as he ran his own calculations and was also getting numbers that were off from the ones he got yesterday. Streetwise had a more solid idea when his stabilizing equipment started working just that bit harder in certain hallways, and it was a very telling thing to him because of his role in Defensor as his left leg coupled with his need to figure things out. First Aid and Hot Spot didn’t have any personal tip offs but had the better idea of everything these little clues entailed then their brothers.
Though they all had swarmed out of the Ark in excited curiosity when First Aid had overheard Red Alert tell Prowl in a very slow and calm voice, that usually meant he was trying to not have a processor fritz and was about to fail, that of course the Ark was slowly sinking since it was crashed into the side of a volcano that could become active under the right conditions. They were a bit disappointed though when an hour of watching barely showed more then a slight sinking of about 1 hundredth of an inch. Even when Beachcomber had then showed up and explained how it was going to take about three vorns before they’d really have to worry about the sinking, but that was a good thing since they wouldn’t like waking up one day to dirt.
The only consolation, except to First Aid because he just couldn’t be mean to anyone, was when Beachcomber mentioned that the ‘cons would have to worry more then they would because they were at the bottom of a large source of water, and shifting water could be oddly quick in changing the landscape, especially when a group of Cybertronians were also moving about and unknowingly helping it along.
