Once she hears the rumor, it buries itself deep inside her and gnaws at her innards day and night. Whispers in her ear when he laughs to the other pilots over the Triad table. Squeezes itself roughly around her heart, restricting its pump when he refuses to meet her eyes. Claws at her guts when he doesn't return to barracks at night. And now that she knows, it's like a cancer filling up every part of her. Poisoning her thoughts. She falls asleep each night to the throbbing ache in her head caused by the near constant clench of her teeth, a painful attempt to maintain her silence and feigned ignorance in his presence ( ... )

Oh, wow. I would like more of this please? It's all angry and dark and brilliant, and they're both so bitter at each other, it's fantastic!

I don't think I have anymore of this one in me. It was kinda rushed and lazy and switched gears halfway through anyways, so I'm not too certain where my brain had originally intended to go. But YAY, i'm glad it went over ok despite all that! I think I was just in a pissy mood yesterday and used them to vent it. :)

That's fair enough, I'm happy with what we have! And it came out brilliantly. Maybe pissy is your ultimate writing mood?

On another note, how can something be rushed and lazy?

Lol, I think pissy is my ultimate mood for everything lately.

"How can something be rushed and lazy" - well, you just have to write all willy nilly and whatever comes out, you just shrug and decide it's probably good enough, cuz you don't have the time or gumption to go back and review whether it makes any sense whatsoever. :P

This is great. Thanks a lot. Jealous Kara tends to push a bit too much (so does Lee btw). I always wished we saw Kara's reaction to Lee's "relationship" with Shevon.

Yeah, me too. It didn't need to get all triangley, but a quick scene of her letting him know that he wasn't fooling anyone could have been magic. Thanks!

This is amazing - so much tension, and everything about it feels like it could actually have happened, given how much they push each other's buttons.
