[Now that Robert's had some time to calm down and regain some of his rationality - and now that he knows that there isn't much he can do about Helios' kidnapping - Robert posts to Ami. He filters it, mostly because he still feels terrible and he doesn't want to sob all over the journals again like he did when he spoke with Frederic.]

D-Doctor Mizuno. Are... you alright? [It's obvious from Robert's voice that he isn't.

After a pause of a few seconds, he mumbles:] I ruined it.

I certainly appreciate that, Doctor Mizuno. Something to do to get my mind off of... the recent events would be pleasant.

As for helping at the clinic, when should I assist you? Or anybody else there, for that matter - though I would prefer to work with you or Doctor Faye-Ling, as I am best acquainted with you both.

What experience do you have in medical work at this point?

[Robert's voice is wistful.] Regrettably little. I have worked with some medical equipment and have deep working knowledge of anatomy, but beyond that I have little formal experience with using medicines and surgical procedures. That, and I presume Lucetian technology is less sophisticated than what I am used to.

Still, I am willing to learn if given the opportunity.

I think Luceti must be more advanced than it seems. After all, it's been able to bring us and confine us from so many worlds.

That may be true... But the technology here is quite different from what I expect. Certainly there are different medical technologies here as well?

Perhaps they are close to those from your world. In that case, I would be most enthused to learn their usage from you, Doctor Mizuno.
