Do you ever see the same people driving around?

So my friend
schmolie just posted about how she just saw another friend of ours driving home from work tonight.

Which reminded me about a similar topic: random people/cars that I see driving around each day on my way to work.

Now I drive a very nondescript car (intentionally so), and so I bet this phenomenon is far more widespread than any of us realizes.

When I used to commute to downtown L.A. from the South Bay, there were a few cars that I'd inevitably see at least once a week on the freeway. One was this huge red pickup truck that had this mirrored-out tinting on his back window ... I know it was the same guy because I actually got to the point where I recognized his face (also, the mirroring was pretty unique, as it faded from bottom to top).

There was also a certain set of box trucks that were painted light blue and had this huge hand-lettered number on the side. Some days I'd see "5" driving to L.A., sometimes "9". I could never see a pattern if there was one.

Nowadays, I routinely see this one guy driving this printing/copying services van driving around. Like, every day!

LiveJournal, do you ever see the same folks driving around?
