I have to check the calendar, as it were, but I think Saturday might work.
I have a nice track over here in the Torrance area that is totally awesome and underused -- perfect for intervals, which I was just reading about last night here.
CoolRunning.com has some great info on a Beginner Marathon Program which looks awesome, except that I am not even running the "pre-training" schedule yet! As seen here:
Mon. Tue. Wed. Thu. Fri. Sat. Sun. Pre- Train Off 3M 4M 4M Off 3M 6M (M = Miles)
Currently, I have been running 3 miles 3 times a week. So, I have some work to do, clearly. It also suggests that one should not attempt a marathon until after a year's worth of running. Care to comment?
I certainly haven't done any of the speedwork, tempo runs or hills, etc. In fact, since I found my track, I haven't even run on the streets at all!
