Summary - Typically, an assassin and a top chart idol wouldn't have a chance or even the fate to meet but what gives when top chart idol Sakurai Sho so happens to own a human pet, Ninomiya Kazunari who happens to be so cute and adorable that no one, not even Sho could have guess him to be the world's best assassin

Dear Sho-chan,
Lately I noticed that you have been avoiding me and I really don’t know why you’re doing it but I think I’ve found out a relevant enough reason. It seems that you no longer like me as your pet right? Haha, it’s okay, really… but with that, I think I shouldn’t bother you anymore since you don’t need me anymore. Yesterday, after much thinking, I’ve decided to leave this place and return to my place. I know you don’t have my phone number or my address, but if you really miss me and want me to come back, you will find it. Thanks for always being a nice and caring master. I’m really happy that we had a chance to stay together.

After reading the note, Sho slumped down into the chair. His mind is now so messy it’s as if it got attacked by a hurricane. Of course he’s relief because there’s no longer a fan boy in the house and he does not have to worry about being attacked out of the blue anymore but that feeling of relief cannot be compared with the feeling of sadness, upset and the fact that he actually missed the bright smile of Nino. It was as if the bunny knew what Sho was thinking, he sneaked itself onto Sho’s lap in attempt to comfort his master.
“Bambi, I want my ‘Tadaima’ to have a reply …” Sho told his bunny in pure sadness.
Since that very day, Sho’s ‘Tadaima’ were no longer answered with a cute and cheerful “Okaeri”. Though his life seemed to have returned to normal; Sho has changed along time when Nino’s here. He wants the good and delicious odor of dinner every time he enters the house, he wants to listen to all those funny sounds coming from Nino’s game and also the loud cheers when he defeated a boss, he wants to stroke that soft hair of his, and he couldn’t really believe it but he admits that he even wants someone to barge into his bathroom when he’s taking a shower. He wants his Nino to come back.
“It’s actually indirectly your own fault you know?” Jun said in his I don’t careless tone.
Sho thought of calling Jun so that he could at least whine a bit to his lost but instead of being comforted or giving him some clues to where his pet would have been, he’s being mocked by his friend while listening to his ‘kitty’ moan at the background.
“What the heck are you doing to your pet for him to be moaning to that extent?”
“Nothing~ I’m just caressing his hair…” Sho could see the smile on his friend’s face through his voice. That reminds him, Nino used to snuggle closer to his body when he’s falling asleep while he caressed his soft hair.
Smiling bitterly, Sho hang up, totally missing his pet. Bambi was extremely obedient as well these days without Nino around. Sho could hardly bare the empty house anymore, he’ll go insane. Even his manager had complain about his lack of concentration to his work lately and if the blame were to be put on anyone, Sho would have pointed his finger straight to his pet but like Jun said, it was his fault as well.
Sighing, Sho went into Nino’s room. He could somehow imagine his pet around the room doing what he wants to do but he then noticed that his ex-pet had packed up everything out except for the one and only photo that was displayed on the shelf. Looking at the photo, Sho traced his finger along Nino’s face and smiled unconsciously. Memories to when the photo were taken, how Nino smiled shyly when Sho requested for some funny poses, how genuine were his smiles while seeing Sho’s excited face as he took the photos. The master could feel a tear forming and soon trailed down his cheek. He misses Nino, there no doubt of it now.
Somehow, something doesn’t seem right about the photo; Nino’s face in this photo is just weird. Suddenly, it hit the idol. Why did Nino take away everything but left this particular photo behind? He then remembered Nino’s sentence in the note…
‘I know you don’t have my phone number or my address, but if you really miss me and want me to come back, you will find it.’
‘Nino must have put something inside the frame and that thing made his face look so funny…’ Sho frowned, thinking how could Nino ruin such a beautiful photo but swiftly quick, opened the frame and finally in weeks, he smiled in happiness; it was a note by Nino~
‘I know you will want me back, Sho-chan. These are my address. Waiting for you ne~’
After reading the address, Sho made no hesitations as he immediately wore his coat and drove towards the state address; Nino’s home.
At Nino’s place, the assassin was smashing his thumbs on the game console as the image in the screen showed his character trying to defeat the level’s high rank and not to mention, he was topless. It isn’t the case of him not wanting to wear a shirt or because he doesn’t like wearing shirts at home but for a simple reason…
“They are all in my suitcase, I just don’t want to take them out” Nino said without taking his eyes of the DS.
“Why?” Aiba asked as he has been asking dear Nino to at least wear something but had been rejected countless times.
“Because I’m waiting for someone.”
“Who?” Nino didn’t answer, but the bell rang instead. The assassin took a quick glance at the door then turned back to his game.
“I’ll open it” Aiba went to the door and at the very moment he opened the door, he stood frozen just by looking at the person standing in front of him. Sakurai Sho, his big idol.
“You-you-”
“Excuse me, does Ninomiya Kazunari live here?” Sho asked, clearly impatient.
Aiba nodded like an idiot, he was wondered if he was dreaming or not. This was by no mistake Sakurai’s voice, and the real person is standing right in front of him.
As Sho really want to see Nino immediately, he did something beyond his policy as he barged straight into Nino’s house totally ignoring the frozen Aiba who is still standing like an idiot at the door, to find his pet playing his game console without caring about his image and appearance as an idol. To his surprise, Nino spoke…
“Too long, do you know exactly how long I have been topless like this?”
“You should have put the note somewhere that can be found easily~.” Sho said as he made his way to the couch Nino was sitting on.
“Don’t like it…”
The idol yanked the DS out of Nino’s hands. When his pet looked at him and whined, Sho smirked
“It’s the punishment for being such a bad pet; how dare you leave without my permission?”
Nino didn’t answer, in turn, slowly got up and wore his only shirt.
“Aiba-chan, I’m going now, take care of yourself and our house… and don’t you dare mess up my game card again~”
Sho stared at Nino who’s walking towards the door with his suitcase. Does it mean that Nino will come back to him? As usual, it was like Nino could read his thoughts; he turned to Sho when he reached the door…
“It’s the punishment for avoiding me” Nino smirked
Sho smiled widely at that comment. He then ran after Nino and they went back to their home together.
“Tadaima!!” Nino said when they got home.
“Okaeri” Sho gently replied “Jyaa, in this house, every ‘Tadaima’ must have a reply ne~ ”
The pet was indeed surprise at the reply as he turned to face Sho and to find his master smiling at him, that smile was bright and soft. Nino blushed crimson.
He concluded that his idol isn’t just cool, cute, idiot, smile being especially brighter and softer for him but it was also filled with love. Sho’s smiles on TV or in concerts are different; the smiles he give his fans are normal and the usual, the smiles Sho gives him are the smiles that Sho-chan would smile at home, the smiles that he would show only to him and just for him.
Being his pet is just so awesome.
